Interior Décor plays a pivotal role in the ambience of the restaurant. When the work of Mustake restaurant started, the major question was how to design a space which makes people comfortable. Restaurants are about people. Their laughter and happiness add to the energy levels in the environment. A good interior décor should create a zone that gives each diner the mood to explore and discover the elements in the dining area, relish the experience and invite them to share the experience with others.
The concept of Mustake was a starting point on the drawing board. Mustake was planned to a multicuisine restaurant and so we created a mixture of styles. This was taken as basis and it reflected both in the architectural approach and cuisine.
Chains and pebbles welcome you to Mustake, the multicuisine restaurant at Kakkanad. The soft lighting on a rough finish wall has a prop of a larger than life fork. The whole décor celebrated the spirit of craftsmanship which is expressed spatially by raw textures of materials such as wood, brick, wood, as well as exposed air ducts on the ceiling.
The raw bricks gave it a rough look which was balanced by the soft tone of lighting used. Deep colors prevail in most of the décor. The modern design with contemporary notes sets a stark contrast to the use of driftwood lighting and green bushes on walls. The metal hooks on wall are used for hanging cooking accessories creating a visual extension of kitchen.
The large windows on a side offer wide views of the road and traffic. The sight of people dining inside is perhaps the most magnetic feature of a restaurant. The warm lights reflecting off the dark wood and the dah of green punctuating the atmosphere draws people to the restaurant.
